Receive President's Volunteer Award

The President’s Volunteer AWARD is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, a group created by President Bush to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers are making to our Nation. Chaired by two-time Super Bowl Champion Darrell Green, with former U.S. Senators Bob Dole and John Glenn as honorary co-chairs, the Council comprises leaders in government, media, entertainment, business, education, nonprofits and volunteer service organizations, and community volunteering. The recipients of the PRESIDENT’S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD are role models for all Americans. Each volunteer hour contributed makes a difference in improving the quality of life for others, and I encourage everyone to contribute to our community by volunteering. Volunteers bring us closer together as families, as communities and as a Nation, through their commitment.

VIP Hospitality Tent Recap
“Cheeseburgers in Paradise”…….Wow, what a great Saturday night. We hope our sponsors and their guests enjoyed themselves at this year’s VIP Hospitality Tent. We appreciate your continuous dedication to Aquafest year after year. Thank you to the volunteers and everyone else who helped make the VIP Tent a huge success. A special thanks to Cirt Yancy Photography, our VIP Tent sponsor, for capturing some amazing photos throughout the evening. Shuttle Information
Park at Lake Stevens High School. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes between the school and downtown behind the Mini-Mart.

Schedule:
Friday: 7:00AM-midnight
Saturday: 7:00AM-midnight
Sunday: 7:00AM-6:00PM. 

 

On Sunday from 7:00-9:00AM the shuttle will also take passengers back and forth from the Car Show at North Lake Middle School to the Fire Department Pancake Breakfast and after 9:00 it will run between the High School, North Lake Car Show and the Downtown stop for the rest of the day.

Aquafest Gone Green
SVR construction services is proud to report that one ton (20 yards) of recyclable materials were recycled from the 2010 Aquafest Festival.
