Aquafest needs your help!
Welcome to Aquafest
2011 to be held in downtown Lake Stevens on July 29th, 30th and
31st! The 2011 Aquafest staff is gearing up to bring you adventure
this summer as we celebrate another year in this thriving
community. Traditional favorites such as the Grand Parade, Miss
Aquafest Pageant, Aquarun, Food Court, Arts and Crafts and Saturday
night Fireworks display are scheduled to return again this year
along with many more great events. We thank all of you who have
participated in the past, and encourage you to spend the weekend
with us once again.As with
any community event, our volunteers are essential to the overall
success of the weekend. We ask that as a family, neighborhood,
religious organization, business or civic group you consider
volunteering for Aquafest 2011. The Grand Parade, for example, needs
80 adult volunteers to run smoothly. Other events, such as the 5K
and 10K Aquaruns, Boat Parade and Car Show rely primarily on
volunteers every year. Your participation can be as simple as an
hour, or a few 3 hour shifts throughout the weekend, depending on your
schedule. We also encourage our younger community members to get
involved. Please start by filling out the online application below.
