A tradition 56 years in the making
Since 1969, Aquafest has celebrated the heart and soul of Lake Stevens. What began as a small community gathering has grown into a beloved annual tradition that brings together thousands of residents and visitors alike.
Our Story
Lake Stevens Aquafest was born from a desire to showcase the natural beauty of our lake and the strong community spirit of our residents. For 56 years, this festival has evolved while staying true to its original roots - celebrating our connection to the water, our local businesses, and most importantly, each other.

From boat races to parades, carnival rides to craft vendors, Aquafest offers something for everyone while honoring the history and culture of Lake Stevens.
A Community Effort
Aquafest is fully volunteer-driven. Every aspect of the festival, from planning to execution, is handled by dedicated community members who donate their time and talents to keep this tradition alive.
