The Proud Pet Show is back at Aquafest, and it’s free! Is there anything more heartwarming than a child showing off their best friend?

We’re calling all animal lovers ages 15 and under to bring their pets to the North Cove. Whether your companion is the “Most Huggable,” “Best Dressed,” or even the “Most Unusual,” there’s a category for everyone — and it’s the perfect chance for a great family photo.

Location: North Cove, near the Mill (in the grass)

Eligibility: Open to everyone 15 and under. One entry per person. Up to two presenters per pet.

Safety: All non-hazardous animals are welcome (please, no parasites). Parents/guardians are responsible for their pet’s behavior at all times.

Registration: Skip the lines by registering online! Online registration closes the day before the event so entries can be printed for judges. Limited walk-up registration available on event day.

🐶 Stay for the Dog Agility Demo

Right after the Proud Pet Show, Sno-King Agility Club takes the same area for a drop-in dog agility demonstration. Bring your own dog to try the mini equipment one-on-one with a club member. Free, no registration required, run continuously through the afternoon.

Waiver & Release

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Lake Stevens Aquafest Proud Pet Show, I, the undersigned parent or guardian, acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in the Proud Pet Show involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury from animals, equipment, or other participants. I voluntarily assume all risks of participation.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Lake Stevens Aquafest, its officers, directors, volunteers, agents, and sponsors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from participation in this event.

I certify that my pet is in good health, has current vaccinations, and does not pose a danger to other animals or people. I agree to maintain control of my pet at all times during the event.

I grant permission for photographs and/or video taken during the event to be used for publicity purposes by Lake Stevens Aquafest.

I have read and understand this waiver and release, and I sign it voluntarily.

I have read and agree to the waiver and release above. I am the parent or legal guardian of the child participant(s) listed and I authorize their participation in the Proud Pet Show.
