Our Team

Chris Jacobson has worked in the electronic security and technology industry since 1999 and has been part of Convergint since 2010. He also serves as Vice President of the Lake Stevens Food Bank Board and is an active Rotarian and member of the Lake Stevens Rowing Club.

Jeff Pegrum helps support event logistics and coordination, including the Boat Parade. A retired Fire Captain who was raised in Lake Stevens, he is also co-founder of Lake Stevens Charitable Thrift and passionate about serving the community he calls home.

Rickelle Pegrum helps coordinate committees, volunteers, and community partnerships. Originally from Spokane, she is also active in the Lake Stevens Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, the Festival of Trees board, and is co-founder of Lake Stevens Charitable Thrift.

Mariah Low has served on the Aquafest executive board since 2018 in multiple roles, including Treasurer, President, and Past President. A dedicated Lake Stevens resident, she actively volunteers with numerous community organizations and events.

Rachele Horner is a leader at Boeing focused on Lean transformation and operational excellence. She is also deeply involved in community leadership, volunteering with Imagine Children's Museum and the Lake Stevens Rowing Club.

Ashley Dreager leads overall marketing strategy, content planning, and creative campaigns. A Snohomish County native and Lake Stevens resident since 2021, she is passionate about creating magical summer festival memories for the next generation.

Ken Cross supports Aquafest as Sponsorship Chair and assists with facilities coordination. A retired Boeing Flight Analyst specializing in electronics and systems analysis, he helps build partnerships that support the festival and community.

Cindy Lemos supports Aquafest with marketing operations and project coordination. A Lake Stevens resident since 2015 and mom of twins, she brings experience in technology, marketing, market research, and operations.

Carrie Blankenship helps bring the Children's Parade to the Lake Stevens community each year in partnership with the Lake Stevens Education Foundation. This fun, free event is open to all ages.

Jamie Copeland supports Aquafest with marketing, social media, website management, and administrative coordination. With a background in sports marketing, including leading marketing and retail for Hoopfest, she now enjoys getting involved in the Lake Stevens community.

James Hampton serves as the Military Coordinator for Aquafest, helping build connections with local military members and supporting festival operations. He also volunteers with facilities and event logistics.

Ashley Hart supports Aquafest through marketing and volunteer efforts. Having grown up in the Lake Stevens community and recently returning with her children, she is excited to contribute to an event that has long been meaningful to local families.

Karl Slomchinski has been part of the Lake Stevens community for more than 40 years. A proud supporter of local traditions, he organizes the $50 Boat Race and enjoys seeing multiple generations of his family grow up in the community.

Ron Stubbs coordinates performers and programming throughout the festival. A comic stage hypnotist and experienced booking agent, he brings years of entertainment industry expertise to the event.

Jessica brings over five years of experience in digital and content marketing. She captures the moments that make Aquafest special through photography and raw content. Outside of work, you can find her running on the Centennial Trail or knitting at Dwellers Drinkery.
