Decorate your boat and join us on Lake Stevens for Aquafest's annual parade. Saturday, July 11, 2026.

This year's theme: America 250, honoring our nation's 250th anniversary.

Rules & Safety

Join us for a celebration of community, creativity, and safe boating. All participants must follow Washington State boating laws and these parade-specific guidelines.

  • ✓ Boating laws: All boat operators must follow Washington State boating laws and safety regulations at all times.
  • ✓ Life jackets: Life jackets and all required safety equipment must be onboard for every passenger.
  • ✓ Safe operation: No reckless operation, excessive speed, or unsafe behavior will be permitted.
  • ✓ Decoration visibility: Decorations must not obstruct the operator's visibility or the safe operation of the vessel.
  • ✓ Parade officials: Please follow parade officials' instructions throughout lineup, departure, and return.

Let's celebrate America's 250th birthday with creativity, community spirit, and safe boating. We look forward to seeing your patriotic displays on the water!

No registration needed to participate. Boats just show up at North Cove Dock for the parade. Submit a photo here to enter the public voting gallery. Voting runs throughout the festival weekend, and the boat with the most votes wins.
