Aquafest is 100% volunteer-run. Every year, dedicated community members donate their time to make the festival happen. We'd love your help.
Aquafest has been run entirely by unpaid volunteers since 1969. Whether you can spare a few hours or want to help all weekend, there's a role for you. Volunteers are the backbone of everything from setup and teardown to running events and greeting visitors.

Volunteer t-shirt
We're looking for community members to join the year-round planning committee. Monthly meetings, big impact. Help shape Aquafest 2026 from the ground up!
We understand everyone has different availability. Here's what to expect:
Planning Committee
Monthly meetings (1–2 hours) starting in January. More frequent as the festival approaches. Year-round commitment.
Setup Crew
1–2 days before the festival (July 8–9). Help with booth setup, signage, and grounds preparation. 4–8 hours per day.
Event Days
Flexible shifts during the festival (July 10–12). Choose the days and times that work for you. Most shifts are 3–4 hours.
Teardown Crew
Saturday evening and Sunday morning after the festival. Help take down and clean up. 3–6 hours.
We need help across all areas of the festival. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Event Operations
Setup, teardown, stage management, and logistics coordination.
Guest Services
Information booths, wayfinding, parking assistance, and accessibility support.
Parade & Events
Grande Parade marshalling, Children's Parade, AquaRun, and sports tournaments.
Vendor & Sponsor Support
Vendor check-in, booth setup assistance, and sponsor coordination.
Beverage Garden
ID verification, service, and area management. Must be 21+.
Marketing & Social Media
Photography, social media coverage, and community outreach.
